Is Andre Ward outpointing Arthur Abraham just a foregone conclusion at this stage?

Abraham is for the most part a good deal more boring and passive in the ring than Ward.

Can someone back me up on this? :huh Am I tripping here?

AA is nothing like Cotto, Margarito, Donaire, Rios Montiel, Pac, Rigondeaux, JMM, EM, MAB, or Maidana. He scores vulture-like knockouts with single shots on tired, legless opponents late in fights. That is nothing like what any of those other action heroes do.

    WTF is this dude smoking?

I'll agree. His workrate is probably floating around the punch per round average of the current James Toney. The only thing he really has is a hard right cross. Hard, not accurate, not fast. He's got poor speed overall, no head movement.. He takes advantage of people wearing themselves out running around in a circle for 12 and comes on "strong" in the last 3-5. TBH i think he's about as exciting as Allan Green.

That is why I said this fight is not my cup of tea!!!!! And I did not say I like Abraham! God!!! If I don't dig Ward, how much more with Abraham?

I does not excite me...... Period.......

Ward by UD if that is what everybody wants....... Seen Ward and I just don't get it!!!!! There is something that just does not tick with me. Abraham who????? I would rather watch Rios.

As you can see, it is personal preference. You might like wine, I don't.

Not a knock on these two fighters because I believe that if you don't don on a glove professionally, you can never be in their mindset. It just does not click with me, both Ward and Abraham. I am 50 per cent sure that it would be a boring fight though.

Ward has been extremely underwhelming in his last two fights. Extremely.

Andre will smother, hold, headbutt and elbow his way to an easy victory against Abraham. I hope he gets KO'd though cuz I can't him and his style, but AA isn't going to do it. His only chance is to land a bomb but Ward will be on the inside smothering and holding him while throwing an occasional elbow and AA doesn't know how to fight on the inside at all.....or counterpunch.

Ward is a consumate professional with far better technical abilities than Froch & Dirrell.I think Ward will impose himself on Arthur, clinch and push Arthur, head butting him and beating the sorry man into submission.I think Arthur will pull out due to cuts or some other so called injury.I dont see this going 12 rounds, chances are Arthur will see double vision

I'm all with you on this one. Ward's footwork is by far better than Froch and Dirrell's. By far.

I think that Abraham has a much better chance than he is being given in here. Abraham puts a great deal of pressure on folks and if it weren't for the DQ against Dirrell I'm convinced that Dirrell would have been knocked out. Froch wasn't affected by it, but that doesn't mean that everyone else out there is now going to be able to nullify Abraham's strategy. I think he's got a good shot. If he tries to reinvent himself then I don't give him any chance, but he's very effective at his style.

After this fight, Arthur Abraham will be known as Mrs. Ward because Ward is going to pretty much **** Abraham. It's going to be ugly for Abraham.

    Yup, i agree with everything.

Ward really has an advantage both inside and outside. As long as he maintains good distance, he should be safe. Him getting careless is what i'm most worried about but given his mentality, that won't happen.
