the difference being that Calzaghe did in fact fight on the inside in the correct manner. whereas Ward grabbed and mauled him to death whilst bringing in a load of Headbutts.

Ward fought in the Olympics I seriously doubt fighting somewhere other than Oakland would bother him. If he is the champion why should he let the challenger dictate where the fight takes place?

 

Hopkins is most boring and dirtiest fighter , but best clincher award is between ward and wlad.

 

Actually, Calzaghe, like most European fighters had no inside game either. In his fight with Kessler, when they got inside, they both clinched and held without throwing any punches.
If Calzaghe, a PRIME Calzaghe faced someone like Ward, he'd lose in the same manner that both Froch and Kessler lost. Ward would out jab him on the outside. Use his jab to get inside, and then beat him up with short inside hooks and uppercuts. :yep
