I don't mean to be rude, please don't take it that way. Hell is real and with your way of thinking it will be your dwelling place. Forever is a long time and once you're there its no turning back. God has his reasons for allowing things to happen. We are not supposed to understand everything. That's what makes him God. I want you to remember this. Eternal life or eternal death. The choice is yours and only yours.

 

Good post man. You can't be to hard on people disrespecting God though... As unforunately a lot of them don't understand. Parents don't teach it much anymore, some of the ones that do that don't teach it the correct way or live out what there saying.
Just like you said people have to realize they learn more going through hardship, and trials than when there comfortable... Same way training. Growing, changing, getting better, etc HURTS... Physichally, mentally, emotionally, all around. Were not suppose to go through life lathargic, and some things can't be explained.
It says in the bible all *GOOD* things come from God. It also says there is a devil though, and it speaks in a couple instances where the Devil asks **Permission** to God to sift us (sift means basically to try, test, etc). This is what builds character and shows who you are. Much like a boxing match where one guy is finally tested, and shown how good he is/ how not good he is.

Does Ward often call around to your house hoping to talk about Jesus and convert you?

Saying "Id like to thank God for my blessings" ISNT pushing it in your face.

Neil Patrick Harris thanked his boyfriend(husband?) for helping him win an emmy last year. I dont think many people would consider "pushing that in your face"

You do understand the bible wasn't written by God or Jesus. Or even the apostles.

It was written by a bunch of ****s hundreds of years later. ****s who just interpret why they either think or want to believe happened. For example Luke, John, Mark whatever, they didn't write that ****...somebody else wrote years and years later what they thought Luke, Mark ect said.

And so it's been changed, altered, interpreted by primitive people with primitive beliefs living centuries ago with there own agendas. And it wouldnt have even prevailed if the Romans hadn't adopted it (with their own agenda for doing so) and spread it over Europe.

And so if you believe in the bible coupled with the fact that NOBODY has ever seen or spoke to GOD then you are a ****ing ******.

Just like you believe that is how I believe there is a God. I sincerely feel sorry for you. I hope your life doesn't end with that same mentality. I tell you what, just give God a try for one week and see if he doesn't reveal himself to you. You won't here a voice or see him but you will know. You can't hear or feel electricity but I bet you don't go around sticking knives in sockets because you just know its there. Give him a shot.

 

God exists, no doubt. So do Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Considering how completely f*cked this world has been since the beginning of time, would anyone even want to believe there was some divine plan to it? You talk about complete and utter incompetence.
