Big Ward fan, but this whole thing with trying to get out of his contract and all that: Didn't like it at all.

Just shut up, finish your contract, and do the fights your promoter tells you. You signed the deal. Make a move after the end of life date on the contract. This whole thing about trying to get out of a legal contract via the court system just really put me off on Ward.

Now I question what the layoff has done to his skill set. There is sure to be ring rust, and who knows what else he's lost physically. (Injuries + Age + Time Off = ?) :think

Less likeable than a pimp woman beater ducking big fights like Stevenson? Less likeable than Peter Quillin who throws his belt in the trash to avoid an easy million dollar payday? Less likeable than a purse snatching old lady assaulting Broner who throws money in the toilet? Less likeable than Floyd Mayweather who beats his girlfriends in front of his children, ducks and cherry picks his hole career? Less likeable than James Kirkland the stickup man? Sure, whatever.

No one is saying he didn't. What we are saying is the most talented boxer to come out of the S6 had a set career path to being great either fight Bute and reign or move up and make noise but instead all he has accomplished since the S6 is to wind up facing the same damn fighter 3 years later. To put it lightly he has gone absolutely nowhere because of his ego while a fighter he beat with 1 hand has become a huge draw. He NEEDS this fight he beat Froch go to the UK an do it again and make the most money possible along with that the fight brings him back in the fold but he would rather sabotage the fight to make no money and draw no fans in Oakland. He needs ALOT of visibility which he would get in UK. The fight wouldn't even be paper view here. For crying out loud he thinks he's a big draw and that there's this huge conspiracy keeping him from being famous....

Ward is a decent guy, and likable on a personal level.

He just does not have a very good grasp on his "brand" in terms of business or where his brand and marketability figures into the reality of the sport.

Absolutely no reason for Ward to be "the most unlikable". Some people are ridiculous, "frustrated" and "annoyed" with Ward is the perfect term I'd use.

I use to be a fan, but I don't respect him anymore. I think he's a good fighter, but how would I know now since he won't step into the ring. He should be itching to get into the ring with anyone, but instead he's acting like a diva.

Well from what I've seen as an individual he seems to be an okay dude, I just don't like him as a fighter. Awful fighting style and is in general a total **** in the ring.

Broner, Floyd, Wilder and Fury are the least likable.
