What styles does warde use in fights....i mean they says he's adaptable....but I think he's a wank stain....headbutts...hugs...elbows....is he going to be the next john ruiz? I mean come on what was adaptable about this last fight...it was just warde throwin 1 shot at a time and grabbing bika like it was his gf....shitty ass fight....fuk this john ruiz clone....if i want mma or muay thai.....i'll fukin watch K1 and ufc...fcukin headbuttin billy goat!...no wonder your average person thinks boxing is going downhill with boring ass fites wher all the fighters do is 1 punch usually followed by one of these: hug/headbutt/elbow/hold!

And oh and before you all think im a hater...before this fight and the Green fight....I use to be a fan....obv i aint no more.

And oh....in his latest fight....did u hear the fukin amercican commentators...everytime Warde moved...oh wow look at that move....ooo brilliant punch landed....and thers bika landing better shots (early on) and in some of the later rounds...and nothing is said....and the ref...fuk me....was he Ward's undercover fcuk buddy? He was hangin on Ward's Nuts all nite, never once warned Ward for hugging and holding all nite! And th scorecards....dnt even get me started....120-108....wtf was that judge blind or just a ******?

I think american boxing is looking to get on the bandwagon of a new hype job and thats Andre Ward now (reminding anybody of the hype job that was Dawson?)....ok i agree he's good....but he aint guna win over no fans with these sorts of fight thats for sure....

I'll bet money that the only Ward fights you've seen were his past three.

When did Ward put an E on the end of his last name?

I heard he changed it after being compared to the great Sven Ottke.

He out-boxed Kessler over a variety of ranges. He put his head on Green's chest and worked him over on the inside. And he just out-fought Bika on the inside and at range. He can fight aggressively on the front foot and in close with combat hooks and upper-cuts, he can box on the retreat and at long range. He can stand at mid-range and land bombs. He knows an impressive number of frowned upon offensive maneuvers. He can even switch from south-paw to orthodox seamlessly. He has speed, legs, decent pop, very good defense, good punch technique.

He does clinch, but not in a negative, Ruiz-esque way. He works in the clinches. He does damage in the clinches. He makes progress in the clinches. I don't like the hometown bias in Oakland, and I don't like Ward's unwillingness to fight on the road, but based purely on what he does inside the ring, I find Ward to be very impressive.

Completely agree! I think he could have adjusted earlier in the Bika fight but it was a great learning experience. Bika was tough as nail and very awkward. Been saying this for a while but Ward is special! He truly wants to be a complete fighter and achieve greatness. More than that he puts in the hard work in the gym to reach his objectives.

Top 10 my ass... Who has he beat ? Bika, Kessler and Miranda. Not that impressive and he with his camp all say that he does not belong on a top 10 p4p list. He may have the skills and what not but wont be added to the p4p 10 list until the end of the super six.

I don't know the Ring's list looks, but I also don't give a ****. He's a certifiable top 10 guy. When he beats Froch you'll change your mind.

Ward is overrated, but at least he has world class boxing skills. Ruiz had all the skill of a high-grade clubfighter.
