It was a close fight but fact that he won the championship rounds tilted it for him. Could have went either way and either way it wouldn't have been a robbery and warranted a rematch.

He will have a great legacy as a top 5 SMW of all time but the Kovalev gift will always be brought up. Look at round 10 (all judges scored this round to Ward).
