Vera has a great chin, did you see the kirkland fight. He ate bombs all night, the ref had to stop it eventually

Who got knocked out? Lee has never been down was stopped in the Vera fight still throwing punches. He admits that he went into the Vera fight over-confident and paid the price. Nowadays people like yourself are obsessed with fighters keeping an '0' on the end of their record or writing them off otherwise.

Granted Lee got too much hype, most of it from Manny Steward but to call him 'all hype' is bull****. He has a fantastic amateur pedigree, sound fundamentals, and a knockout punch. He hasn't even reached his peak yet and with the right matchmaking could easily take an alphabet title in the future.

So that obviously means he has a glass jaw right?

Codrington can punch, and every fighter can be KOed. Not everyone is George Foreman.

Vera went rounds with James Kirkland, who can both punch and has a buzzsaw offensive. The man undisputably has a chin.

From the sound of Andy's interview on onthegrind, he has the mentality and the smarts to have learned his lesson and be quite a force in the future.

Good post, he's learnt alot from that Vera fight, and if it hadnt been for the cuts he mightnt even have lost it.

He was severely overhyped back when he was undefeated, but for now I don't think we can say whether he's a good or bad fighter because he has yet to prove hismelf amongst top competition.

For now I say he's a decent fighter and I guess he could win a title at some point in his career and become at least a player in the middlweight divisions, but I don't think he'll ever become somekind of star or dominant champion. That's just my opinion of him off of what I've seen from him so far.

Well, he isn't exactly testing himself in his next bout.

Of course this could always go Lyell/Duddy on them.
