I just read on fightnews that Steward is looking to pair the two at the end of the year. Does Andy have a shot or is the old man just crazy?

What is it with these Irish fellas fighting a few tomato cans, and being considered ready for a title shot, or a match with a big name, top quality fighter?

No. Wright would ko him right now. I want Lee to fight Macklin. Nothing better than watching two paddies knocking hell out of each other.

I think he WILL be ready someday...but right now it would be certifiably insane to put him in with Wright.

Yeah. I went to a Catholic University in Leeds at Horseforth and we had loads of Irish in. Mainly young hot sexy never been touched Irish maidens but the odd Irish lad there were usually Rugby type nutjobs (student teachers too, scarey).

Leeds is a great night out and has some first class establishments for people who want to get drunk and have abit of a barny. Beeston is one dangerous place, I park there when I watch Leeds. Almost every house has metetl shutters over the windows.

Macklin and Lee would be a great fight. Macklins performance against Moore was huge.

Leeds is overrated for a night out mate!

Beeston isn't anywhere near as bad as it is made out to be, if you live on the right side of Cross Flatts Park you wouldn't know that half of Al Qaeda trained there. I'm being serious about that as well!

Not much drugs, no car crime, no burglaries - just terrorism. Wankers.

Most people should check him out before writing him off. He has good skills, fast hands, good footwork. He hits hard and precise, which can make him a problem for any fighter. Emanuel Steward puts alot of pride in him, but not many people realize where he stands among Steward's other fighters. I believe Steward made a statement about Lee and where he stands in the middleweight division with something along the lines of "Jermain Taylor may be Middleweight Champion of the World, but Andy Lee is Middleweight Champion of Kronk Gym."
