i think he was troubled by Eubank power more then the pace he was setting, Eubank is a fighter that works for a full 3 minutes of a round. Ryder is much busier fighter then Eubank
The key point is 'Can Billy nip across no-mans land, land his few taps and nip back out of harms way - and keep doing that safely for 12 full rounds?' As I say Andy is quite limited in an awful lot of areas and I do think Billy Joe will pull it off - maybe with a scare or two along the way, but he will do it.
How I see it too, think if he loses he does a macklin and moves back to 154 and his 'proper' fighting weight IMO, a tune up and it's another big domestic world title clash with beefy
Yeah, but I don't think Lee will mind BJS starting fast so much as unlike Korborov or Quillen Sainsers won't be able to do much damage. Lee will measure him and take him out
DP, no offense mate, but you are absolutely wrong in your assessment of Lee. He has a granite chin. but is vastly overrated as a boxer - he does not 'measure' opponents and take them out - he wings it and from time to time he gets lucky with a big one.
Do me a favour about Lee having a granite chin mate. TKO'd by Vera, smashed up by a drug riddled Chavez and bounced up and down off the canvas v Quillen etc. He doesn't have a glass chin but it's definitely not granite
Terry Fitzgerald from Battersea lying again about being a fighter.... Absolutely nothing comes up in any searches regarding you being a MMA fighter or boxer.wheres the proof.... It's likely just another one of your many lies you baggy eyed, ugly, jobless depressed midget you look about 35 lol you miserable angry loser.get help for the lying terrance......
Andy Lee is wide open He has ZERO guard, and frequently bad balance too. You could drive a bus through his defence. He takes flush shot after flush shot and has only ever been down both 'flash' knockdowns in 2 fights. (And the JJ knockdown had more to do with foot placement/stance issues. While Quillin is poor but is a very big one-punch hitter, no shame there.) Iron Chin Andy they should call him....:scaredas:
I'm not sure the skill gap in terms of boxing ability is that great, I think Lee may outpoint BJS, BJS may be to conscious of the right hook and lose rounds. People forget Lee can box a bit.
Only a bit though. He is very stiff upright and mechanical. Plus his punch output is very low - 25-30 punches a round. Billy Joe is a lot busier, and more likely to nick rounds as a result.
i fancy Lee by stoppage i can see Billy Joe winning early rounds on the back foot using his boxing but i expect Lee to walk through billy Joe in the middle to late rounds and get the KO.
