I don't know Andy that well if I'm honest but I know Joshua's opponents have been awful so far. I'd like peoples opinions on this

I think Ruiz is an unknown also. Really hasn't beaten anyone of note, at least not anyone that could be considered relevant during the time he fought them.

I'd say Ruiz, Martin and Brazealle are all probably on a par with one another.

Joshua is a big, young, inexeperienced, undefeated guy, who has been fighting other big, young, inexperienced, undefeated guys. What else do you want him to do?

They want him to loose, so far he hasn't so threads like this give these people some weird sort of justification why he hasn't lost.

Good post, I agree mostly, except I always thought Martin was a fraud. In my opinion, Breazeale and Ruiz are on a par, and Martin below.

No I don't think so. Hes on the level of a Breazeale definitely better than Martin and whyte though, imo.

Andy ruiz is a damn wrecking machine. Hughie just gone and screwed up accepting the fight. He'll be beaten by the blob severely.

His opposition has been poor, although I do really like the style of Dillian Whyte, especially his body punching, and wish that he hooked up with a better training team. If he did I could see him as a Chisora level fighter.

Ruiz is garbage. Worse than Martin for sure and probably worse than Whyte or Breazeale. Just look at the White Wolf fight.... Ruiz may have been a step down from Kassi and Rudenko for Fury.

    It's hard to say.
No one knew how good or sh!t Martin and Breazeale were really. Especially Martin.
If Ruiz appears to be better than them on the night, people might say that's because Hughie is not on AJ's level.

I think AJ has been impressive so far, but against quite bad opposition.
I'd almost say the same about Hughie, although he hasn't shown power he has boxed well for a young fighter. He's smart boxer. And he turns 22 later this month.

Sad thing is, Deontay Wilder, who is 37-0, and 5-0 in WBC title, and 30 years old, isn't exactly a mile in front of them in terms of quality in his resume.

there would have been complaints if ruiz jnr was made as an opponent for joshua simply because he is a short for a heavy and he is obese.
he can fight and puts his punches together quite well.

but he is a plodder and he short reach/no jab and needs to get inside.

fury is going to walk the outside/give him a few angles to stop his getting set and just potshot with the jab and long punches and then tie up on the inside.

fury will see everything coming a long way off.

IMO fury is the wrong style for ruiz jnr and while i doubt fury will get much credit as the public will just see ruiz body condition and not the fighter behind it.

no win fight for both fighters IMO .
help there rankings but because fury and ruiz are unathletic looking i think all the casulas will be so so about the fight.

personally i think fury is a hard fighter to beat / you need power to keep him in check.

ruiz has power v c level fighters but i think his power is only average
fury has no real power at all but he has natural abilty and good boxing skills and length

i see this as something like 8 rounds to 2. fury.
