Robert Duran partied and gained weight after beating Leonard and Leonard stopped him in the following fight. Buster Douglas partied and bull****ted after beating Tyson and Holyfield stopped him in the following fight. Lennox Lewis huge upset loss to Hasim Rahman. In the rematch, he put it straight on him and KOd Rahman. Andy Ruiz partied for 5 months straight and Anthony Joshua goes 12 rounds with him. Anthony Joshua knocks down Kubrat Pulev twice in round 3 and lets him survive till round 9? Is Anthony Joshua a beaten man?
Against Fury yes Has started using Fury's words like "I'm a fighting man" and "I'll fight any time, any place and anywhere" excuses like "Fury is a different generation" "Fury should retire soon" "I'm so far behind Fury experience wise" lol. He puts up a good front but these cracks will be craters if they put Fury in front of him for any period of time. Wlad could have probably got to him but Wlad sucked him & Eddie Hearn off. He was just chuffed to get another shot at all them belts.
He probably didn't go in guns blazing in the fourth because he thought Pulev may have recovered, and believing a fighter to be more hurt than they are wasn't a mistake he was going to make twice. Also it wouldn't be smart for AJ to go into the hardest fight of his career against Fury or Usyk, with less than 4 rounds fought in the last 12 months
Rewatched the Pulev fight. He is still very reliant on his uppercuts. Might work against Fury, but he still needs something at range to put away Fury if he decides to fight defensive.
4 titles. Has either fought or offered a fight to most of the current top 10 heavyweights. PPV star. Fills the soccer stadium whenever he fights. All that, but yeah, to idiots like yourself, somehow he is a beaten man hahahaha. I swear, AJ could cure cancer and you idiots would have something bad for say about it. A better question is, why do you hate him so much?
So he’s a beaten man for going the distance with someone with a good chin? No. Also the pulev argument is ridiculous
He beat the crap out of Pulev and it could have been stopped when he turned his back on him. Unbelievable a guy can be criticized while dominating his opponent.
Joshua is probably as good as he ever was. It's just that any veneer of greatness is gone after Ruiz beat him. He was good but no ball of fire in the Ruiz rematch or in the Parker fight which preceded the Ruiz loss. I don't think Joshua beats Fury but I'd pick him over anyone else around right now.
