As we all know, in April of 2017 Anthony "Oluwafemi" Joshua took on the heavyweight behemoth Wladimir "Dr. Steelhammer" Klitschko. At 6'4.5" and around 245lb, Klitschko did not look small when standing next to Joshua. In the ring he gave the Brit absolute hell: Joshua's first pro career knockdown, lessons on the jab and how to counter it, lessons on how to fight on the inside... The fight was a big learning experience for AJ and looked on as a catalyst for the next few decades of super-heavyweight super-fights. And yet... where are these super-heavyweights? In his next fight, Joshua took on perennial contender Carlos Takam, a good, but not great, fighter. Yes there were other issues that made this fight happen. Yes Joshua at that stage deserved an easy fight after the Klitschko war. But at the end of the day, Takam is 6'1". Actually, he's 6'1" in the morning so at the end of the day he would actually be even shorter due to spinal compression. By Christ, the man might not even be a full six feet. In the ring Takam looked even shorter due to his muscle mass and proportions. His head looked twice the size of Joshua's, he looked like an underdeveloped baby in there and basically got beat down until the Calzaghe stoppage. Ok. Next fight, Joshua takes on Joseph Parker. Oh Joseph Parker, the 6'4" undefeated Samoan with decent skills, should be a good fight. Except when they squared up, we realized something was amiss. In fact it wasnt just missing, it was gone like it had never been there - what was gone, you ask? Why, I'll tell you what was gone, three full inches were missing from Parker's height. I was looking extremely closely at all the security footage, trying to determine if perhaps Parker was hiding some height with unfavorable posture, quantum-engineered reverse elevator shoes, maybe he tampered with the lights and the fractals were playing tricks on my eyes. I gave him the benefit of the doubt all the way until I saw him in the ring. And the midget got the midget treatment, a modern day version of Klitschko vs Povetkin. Speaking of Povetkin... Now we come to Joshua's most recent fight. He signed on to fight Alexander Povetkin, coming off a brutal KO win over 6'9" David Price. Six feet nine!!! Thats a whole four inches over 6'5". If Pov could do that to Price, what could he do to Joshua... Except Price was shot and had been defeated by taller opponents in order to be softened enough for little Povetkin. Poor little Alex, he looked barely six feet tall against Joshua. His little infantile left hook barely inconvenienced Joshua. He would have been better served throwing the contents of his diaper at Joshua instead to try and force a TKO. And now Joshua did some shady things and Wilder and Fury are fighting each other. Theyre not fighting Joshua, theyre fighting each other. I dont know what exactly happened in the negotiations, and neither does anyone else on this forum (youre welcome to share!). But my guess is that a lot of it had to do with Joshua's liking to fighting underdeveloped men and his distaste of fighting fully grown, physically adult human males. Perhaps he believes a hard fight between the two will leave them both a little shorter, due to stress or something. Eddie Hearn and Joshua are scheming BIG TIME, PRONTO. Theyve gotta be using every trick of the trade, and boy are there a lot of tricks. Yoga to help Anthony get to a full 6'6". Secret hidden incline angles inside the canvas to give him even more boost. Soon he'll be sporting the Leonard fro and claiming a full seven feet. And they're not stopping there. Intentional downplaying of the sugar content in various foods of his future opponents to speed up arthritis of the joints - takes off an inch or two. Mandatory military style haircuts and flat footwear. I wouldnt be surprised if Hearn had enough influence to be contaminating the water supply in the UK with chemicals that stunt growth in future heavyweights to come. People need to wake up and see the signs. The heavyweight champion of the WORLD is a dwarf bashing bully. Whats with all the dwarves in the HW division, anyway. Future AJ opponents need to stop doing steroids and cocaine that dont help matters and start hanging off the pull up bar.
He's a fat pudding hunter. Notice the fat puddings he's become addicted to tucking into Parker Takam Povetkin Whyte Miller Pulev All of them fat, asthmatic, short and/or old I bet he can't wait to tuck into Miller, the biggest and proudest glutton of them all, who boasts about grilling and eating cheeseburgers in his spare time and being bigger than XXL.
Some ****ers claimed Joshua was afraid of Whyte because Whyte beat his ass in the amateurs. Pulev and Povetkin were mandatory obligations. Who are these 7ft bodybuilders he is supposed to be fighting?
How about stop chasing fat short stumpy old men with no arms. He should have been fighting Usyk, instead of letting his socalled close friend Bellew have to take the punishment on his behalf and nearly dying as a result
Ortiz was a mandatory obligation. That didn't stop the fraud from running to the WBA to beg them to remove him as mandatory. What about Usyk who was his mandatory? That didn't stop him from getting his scouse mate to take his beating for him. Even had Bellew have one of his dumb friends mc in the ring before the fight. That was joshua's head that was meant to be bouncing off that canvas, not bellews.
I knew something was up when Josh didn't fight Ortiz/Fury/Wilder but chose short ol' surfer mop top PEDvet & Parker was at a size disadavntage still beat aj 7-5 LOL when the ref warned Parker "stop coming forward"
When Wilder fights Wlad, Parker, Takam and Povetkin, call me. But while he's fighting old turtles and guys he dug out of the fat farm, I DGAF about him.
Parker How could he have fought parker when parker chose to fight his sparring partner when Wilder offered to fight him at short notice? And When Povetkin fails drug tests and gets banned? Why don't you use your brain? Such stupidity and ignorance makes me sick
Most of those people on the list are taller than Luis Ortiz. Good job Joshua didnt face and beat him too isnt it. Or is it? Which one is it? Are Wilder fans heads going to eventually blow up when all these contradictions and double standrards start to compress into themselves?
Oh please... Bellew put himself fin that ring. Not to mention, Usyk just sort of came to HW(ish), and AJ fought Povetkin barely two months ago. I mean...if you are just looking to talk smack about AJ, you have to do a better job.
You really think bellew wanted that fight? Did you not see the fear, terror and bewildering look in his eyes when he saw Usyk facing him menacingly before the bell ring? Did you not notice how much energy Tony was using to simply muster up the strength and faux Dutch courage to get in the ring. His eyes looked as if they were about to pop out of their sockets he was that much shaken with apprehension. There is little doubt that he was talked into that fight to serve as an obstacle to obstruct Usyk from getting his bare hands on Joshua
