I voted yes but think hes not as bad first thought. I was surprised at what he had left in the 11 th. But more rigid imo, if that makes any sense
You can tell his frame is carrying to much muscle, its ott, not needed. I don't think hes as naturally broad as Wlad but his arms are much bigger. I'm surprised he could lift them in the 11th to be honest
Joshua is an odd mix of robotic and fluid. His bodybuilder physique exaggerates the sense he's boxing by numbers but when he lets his hands go and throws combinations, they are very fluid. Maybe his stamina issues mean he has to switch between the two looks; explosively fluid for brief moments, a little plodding while he recharges the batteries. And he is improving, watch his work in early fights and he's all straight lines and very Bruno-esque but less so now. It seems his game plan is to create bridgeheads for KOs and if they don't come early he builds the power bar back up and goes again later in the fight. When he turns on the afterburners he's more Tyson than Bruno but for fleeting moments. But yeah he's not a natural talent, all this has been taught and maybe that's where the whiff of the robot is evident...
Well he looks like robocop. Can't be fluid with all that mass, a guy like bowe would give him a pasting
You can say he is robotic but not in a negative way. He packs a lot of muscle, he might not be fluid like James Toney but is quick on the draw, strong, punch hard and can slip punches. That's a lot of plus for the so call giant modern heavyweight era.
I was surprised at how he was avoiding wlads follow up attack, he was ducking pretty well, so not as robotic as someone like Bruno, who probably would have been more stationary. I'd concede he does move well for a fighter his size.
Them lead left hooks were silly imo, trying to take him out with 1 punch. I think if he would've jabbed a bit hide the right he'd of got much more success than that left hook from a mile away
