That would be a live possibility. We've forgotten how badly Aj wants to fight Fury and provided Fury wins He's even said he'd vacate his belt just to fight Fury.

I low-key think Aj wants to gain his respect back after the Ruiz wipeout and sees Fury as a difficult but very winnable fight stylistically. I feel as if Aj himself has always fancied himself to beat down Fury because he gave a pro Fury issues as an ameture during a sparring session and because Fury himself is a relatively large target unlike Ruiz or Usyk.

In all honesty i still don't think its going to happen until after winter

    Yeah, why not.
Maybe A.J might vacate WBO belt if eddie will tell him to do this. Maybe.
Eddie maybe is concerned cos outcome vs fat Panda and how he gassed vs Pulev, it was _______ .
Maybe they wish Usyk to get nervous and disrupt his training camp schedule indirectly. Each advantage in big business is good tool, nothing wrong, like clauses, and hometown fights etc normal for business things.

Uh, a 40 year old,,, and in Wilder I'll say with absolute certainty he beat the most fundamentally unsound fighter to hold the heavyweight title in perhaps a 100 years

    It's a 50-50 fight, lets be real.

Skill wise its a miss match in Usyk favour, size wise its a miss match in AJ favour.. Lets see which means the most.

USYK winning would be good for old school fight fans as he's the same size as Ali and the old top heavyweight greats.

Like he trained for big belly Miller who was replaced by bigger belly Ruiz? I see Femi's caution now.

AJ is not playing anything safe, up till recently Usyk's promotor still had contractual questions they wanted resolving, and covids impact on attendance at a big venue in UK means a September date should mean a better chance of no covid attendance limits at stadium which means more money, as we know money talks.

At present folk visiting UK from Ukraine for example have to quarantine themselves on arrival, pay for covid tests etc, you need to be a diehard fan to go through that just to watch a bout in the stadium, hopefully by time of bout vaccinations etc will have lowered that risk.

The bout has been made, so no ones running scared, WBO seem ok with that timescale, Usyk team the same, so all is good.

"Both Fury and Joshua knew they couldnt fight each other at the same time"

I'm pretty sure this is my new favourite sentence.

Sounds to me like the AJ Usyk fight is not going to happen , I have the feeling Eddie knows the crowds will be not be allowed back in September.....Listen to what he says starting at 26:55.

Maybe AJ will have new kind of Virus one week before the fight

And Eddie will say "One more week mate" with his stupid smiling face. :roto2gay:

I don't remember Usyk Hurting Chisora at any point. Ive only watched the fight once but I thought a draw wouldn't have been out of the question. I distinctly remember thinking that there was no way that Usyk could trouble the top guys at HW. And his first HW fight was also less than impressive.

Usyk is an amazing Boxer, but I think he's too small for AJ.... MAYBE he edges out a decision, but I doubt it. Especially if the fight is in Britain/ Match Room/ Dazn... Which it will be.

I'll have to go back and watch again I guess.
I don't think I actually scored the fight at the time, but like I said I was mildly surprised when Usyk won.

Fury is clearly no1 at HW and AJ Wilder and Usyk are 2 3 and 4 in whichever order you want i think all 3 could beat each other on any given night. I'm looking forward to both fights and after both have happened it clears the way for undisputed between both winners.
Usyk is very much in the fight with AJ and imo its a 50-50. I see Fury vs Wilder a 90-10 to Fury as i believe Fury has Wilders number and Wilder knows this hence the earphones at the presser he didn't want no part of the Fury verbal beatdown after his physical and mental beatdown last time out.
