This is true. When he was being touted as the best HW h2h ever, that was pretty bad...........

If he stopped Ruiz in the 2nd fight I think he'd get more credit. As a puncher as a finisher.

No it's not. He simply is. His combo really flows, he is incredible accurate, world class speed, world class explosiveness(to be fair one of the best since Tyson as well), have great straight punches, great hooks, world class uppercuts as well. And his punches just flow perfectly.

That doesn't say AJ is better overall boxer than X or Y guys, but his combos are really top notch.

I'm just not the usual yes or no man. I said it the way i see it, whether i'm a fan or not of a certain fighter.

People on here underrated AJ big time, because of a bad night, and going full throttle against Ruiz, who he school 12-0 in the rematch.

Again still waiting for a proof that someone is better than AJ in terms of combo.
The video i gave, bar his opponent was s****, but still incredibly durable i haven't seen a proof like that from anyone.

He's one of the greatest athletes HW boxing has ever seen. But skill-wise he sucks.

Holyfields combos were much greater than Bodybuilder's

Very good combination puncher and finisher Joshua, I don't see how a neutral could argue otherwise, his problem lies in a poor gas tank. It's one of the reasons why fury will take him into deep water and drown him.

He’s one of for sure. His offensive got him to where he is now, he just needs to get that killer back for the Usyk rematch

I actually agree with Bellew on this one: Joshua is a phenomenal combination puncher. Look at the way he shredded Kevin Johnson in 1.5 rounds: Dubois and Hrgovic can punch but neither could get a more faded Johnson out of there over 8/10. AJ's problem is he gasses after throwing extended combos and he's lost the confidence to let his hands go with regularity due to getting hurt/dropped/KO'd. It's also hard to land combos against a mobile target with great movement.

He hardly sucks. Good right hand, good uppercut, good combination puncher, decent jab, can alter his style.

He's just not an ATG level in terms of skill like Usyk or Fury.

He's definitely a great boxer though.

He has very fluid, aesthetic combos.

No, he's not. Where does Joshua punch in combination? What is a combination? A 1,2? Joshua barely puts more than 3 punches together. So no, he's not a great combination puncher at all. He can throw a jab followed by a right hand and a left hook...WOW! What a great combination.:risas3: He has no inside game. He's weak in the clinch considering how strong he actually is. He doesn't see shots coming and gets rocked quickly. He's stiff, has no head movement and doesn't deal well with pressure. He sucks. But his athleticism is a true equalizer as soon as he doesn't face a great boxer or somebody who can walk through some hot hot fire (Ruiz in the first fight).

Joshua has barely any skills in the boxing department but thats ok. It's HW boxing. And Hearn did a great job selling him as the next big star despite knowing that he sucks skill-wise. He's still a very good HW.

Literally look at all his knockouts and you'll see he doesn't KO any of his more recent opponents with 1-2 punches.

    Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Pulev.

Ya he can throw an uppercut. We all know that. And yeah if an opponent is hurt he can throw maybe 4-5 punches within 5 seconds. But overall he's not a great combination puncher in a regular fight. If you want to see combination punching watch Lomachenko. Or Inoue. Joshua for sure isn't one.
