Is Antonio Cervantes the most underrated of the greats?

    I've always, always, always said that Cervantes would have beaten Chavez at 140.

    Lightweight Chavez was phenomenal.

    But as a junior welter? He never impressed me as much as Cervantes.

    I hold a few controversial Chavez opinions, because I also believe that Carlos Ortiz would have beaten Chavez.

    Scorecards were SD, and you have the mid-70's WBA at work.

    Very good question. I don't know why either. But it probably doesn't help his place in history that he never met a Duran or a Napoles in the ring.
