seeing as a fighter a complete one, a champion. needs a chin, stamina, mentality, skills, speed and power. herol and 3 of them. where as now britian is riding high with many champs with champ mentality. the middleweight division has usually been a tough one, herol although supremely talented isnt better than brook, fury, frampton probably degale as a fighter.

Jj broke his dental bridge in the previous round and he fought angry....suicide against jj.

 

I think timing and maybe not having the right connections ? When he defended his Euro belt against Kaylor it was a world eliminator for Hagler , but Hagler didnt honour that and fought Leonard . Herol then rather tread water for a year or so then lost his Euro title to Kalambay . He then got his world shots further down the line . After Kaylor he was 37-0 and looked peak .
