Who would want to fight there seriously....after the long history of the texas commission's well-documented problems....

There was an article in ring mag. about how the texas comission on boxing is a joke....

I am. I pray that the Texas Commission doesn't **** up if it goes to a decision like they did in the Diaz fiasco against Malignaggi, or the last super fight they had over there in Texas (Whitaker-Chavez) which ended up a draw

Jerry Jones agreed to bring in outside judges and refs. Texas Athletic Commission will be invisible.

The only thing I'm worried about is where Pac is going to have his concert after his victory.

Texas officials like the aggressive fighter... also pacquiao fought barrera in SA....

I just don't like dickie cole as the head of the commission....if the fight happens there all the judges and ref should be outside the state...

imagine laurence cole as the ref of a mega-fight...

The Juarez/Chris John bout in Texas also ended up in a controversial draw.

I'm worried about the Texas commission on a day-to-day basis. Their standards and concern for boxers' welfare are almost on even footing with Wyoming.

They gotta agree to out of state officials or there's no way it's happening.

I hope it does go to Dallas... 100,000 people! ... say no more.

It still gets more money from a Vegas casino I'm afraid. The Vegas casino's offer so much cash to host these big fights no one else gets a look in no matter how big the venue.
