Is anyone bothered if Brian Rose never fights on Sky again?

Billy if only you could see the irony of a very obese man (like you) extolling the virtues of training in a gym. Im surprised you managed to put that kebab down long enough to unleash your very own version of righteous indignation.

Not to worry though Billy theres still time to get down the chipper for your last fried mars bar of the day .... Enjoy! :hi:

Billy no one doubts that TBH.

The question being for me Rose and his team must surely be frustrated by the fact that he fought the opponents fight, even in the brief action?Jones as a natural veteran WW with decent pop was never going to outbox Rose over the distance imo.

Rose had the advantages you as a trainer would wish to see height, reach, weight advantage as well as hometown fight to your strengths not the opponent's.

I find it really ironic that rose spat his dummy out about the stoppage while arnfield got a shocking pass by the same ref/judge.haĺl clearly won that fight but hearne obviously wanted the local lad to get through

At first i thought the stoppage was premature but after watching it back i think it was a decent one. Rose took 3-4 seconds before starting to protest after it was waved off. If he was genuinly fine he would have had his gloves up telling the referee he could continue prior to it being stopped.

He is a nice lad but he should be stopping an old slow carson Jones.

Thats exactly what ian john lewis needs. You need to make sure, and i mean tell him sternly with your gloves to temple saying youre ready to carry on.

Agreed, the difference between when Jones was shook and when was Rose was shook is that Jones was firing back still. Rose said after in his interview that he "covers up, that's what I do", which is fine but unfortunately if you don't throw back you will get stopped.

should rematch jones. think a fight between him and liam smith will be interesting too.

Bit unfair to retire on that, as a boxer with probably not that much talent he did well to get a title shot in the first place. Don't think he should headline a show though

Rose is good enough to fight on under cards on Sky. the stoppage was way to early Ian John Lewis is to keen to stop fights its boxing not a pillow fight.

People are forgetting the war he had with Prince Arron on sky. I've been a fan since that fight and was gutted with the loss on Saturday.

There's still some decent domestic fights to be made. Wouldn't mind seeing him in with Liam Williams.

I think it was a fair stoppage. Brian let himself down after with his actions and comments. Saying that he covers up and takes shots to the gloves, fs, he was trying to hold onto Jones and done a funny dance. Him out of all people should know the importance of a fighters safety
