Is anyone disappointed that Fury hasn't taken his career more seriously?

Wlad was a risk of course but Fury knew Wilder was a fraud.
The guy cant box and relies om flying rights to get the jon done.
He knew he would best that one trick pony.

Maybe I should put it differently then. I feel he only wants fights that are sure wins or high profile fights in which he favours himself.
If you notice he would always bring Chisora up as a future fight despite beating him twice.
In his book he said Chisora was tailor made for him.

Thats what I mean. He likes those type of fights, chisora, some mma guy, wilder who he already beat, schwarz type opponents or say Haye if he comes back now for example.
He also would like to fight AJ since he clearly favours himself.

I think he is reluctant to face Usyk for example. Everything he says about him screams that he doesnt wabt it.
Same with Whyte. He doesnt want that fight in his heart.
Look how he reacted to it when the WBC enforced it.

And this is coming from a guy that likes Fury.

Imagine thinking Fury doesn't want to fight Whyte

But Wilder he did want to fight?

Wilder is infinitely more dangerous than Whyte

Pay Fury £30m he'll fight anyone.

Usyk is a special case but if you think beating a bodybuilder means he will handle Fury you're mistaken

There is a great deal of truth to this, but...

    A) There is the odd fight along the way that he did not take...Tony Thompson coming right to mind. And...

    B) He wasted a year and a half and a Joshua fight after beating Wilder. Yes, Covid delayed the third Wilder match, and Warren said that he could not make the fight in December, but if he would have taken the Wilder fight in January or February, and got it out of the way, he could have been the one to fight Joshua. Instead, he tried to get out of it legally, and it backfired like crazy.

He's left a bit on table.

For a man of Fury's gargantuan size and dimensions to be as slick and agile as he is its akin to a blue whale being able to do this

    That's what I'm talking about

No. He already beat all the elite HWs of the last 15 years (Wlad and Wilder). Yeah...the Usyk fight should happen and maybe it will at some point but even without he delivered. Depending on what Usyk does at HW in the next few years after the Joshua fight i think he could potentially surpass Fury in terms of greatness but so far Fury is the #1 HW of the last 12 years and future HOFer.

    Now I want one, too!
This one doesn’t seem to be as agile as the other one you posted

I think it's just confused and is trying to work out what's going on. I'm sure its super agile too when it wants to be

A tiny bit disappointed. I was most disappointed when he looked down and out in 2016-2017. He redeemed himself a lot, surprising everyone with his performances vs Wilder.

Hopefully his last performance was a blip, as he had just recovered from COVID a month or two previously and did not train properly according to his Dad due to baby in hospital. I think he should be in better shape vs Whyte and may even take it more seriously than Wilder.

I'm not disappointed, because it's not really a surprise. Some fighters are religiously prepared gym rats; others less so.
