He just beat the BIG SHOW who is what....10 weight classes ahead of him....how can he drop?????

 

plus de la hoya is a part time fighter, hopkins defeated winky wright in his last fight and antonio tarver before that.

 

And in 3 years, Hoya had beaten Mayorga, it's not comparable, Hoya will soon be coming off of a win against Forbes, wow.

 

i consent with floyd but PAC got a shitload of good fighters on his resume....

 

I will wait and see who floyd fights next.

 

Depending on other fights from other top 10 fighters, going on before the end of 2008, Mayweather could definitely lose his #1 pound for pound status !

A very dominant victory by either Calzaghe or Hopkins would certainly merit and argument for the #1 spot.
