Let's see a hypejob, protected manufactured fighter, gets gift decisions, drugs cheat, gets given a paper title, avoids the best, no dedication.....what's not to like?

I am a fan, he is a young star with potential and is doing a great job trying to forge his own path and he is a son who is doing pretty well in relation to his dad

won a title in about the same amount of fights around the same age and its very impressive considering he had not am background and is a jr of a great father

I used to not like him, but he has improved and I also like his left hook to the body. Now lets see him fight some one who his own size and up the ante.

Hell Yeah! The kid has the heart of a gunslinger and you gotta like that about him. He punches a little weak but I think his power can be increased to respectable and with two or three more tough fights, he will be a real winner.

paper title means vacant title, chavez jr didn't fight for a vacant belt.

I have been a fan of him for a while now. He's better than people make him out to be, tough and he comes to fight. People hate on him for all the treatment and hype he's gotten, due to his father's name but how is he at fault for that?

He obviously grew up a very wealthy kid, and he still pursues getting punched in the head for a living. Respect.

Prime example that media hype, promotion, tv coverage, bloated record, easy opposition that makes you look good and you have the recipe for success and making millions. His career is being manage like the career of a no talent reality tv star and people buy into it easily.

    :hat

I'll watch jr fight. He can put on a show. **** that "he's not skilled" argument. Skills don't necessarily mean excitement.
