Is anyone else done w Canelo?

Been bored with him for years.

 

His getting guys on the up before they are actually ready to take him on... if he took the Bivol rematch or fought Benevidez and won I'd be back on board but not while his doing whats his doing... smart matchmaking is what ruined boxing.. we want 50-50's

 

He’s doing what every other cash cow not named Oscar De La Hoya has done in the last 45 years. There’s a list of guys that SRL didn’t fight and he waited until the right time to fight Marvin Hagler. The issue is history remembers the guys they did fight vs the guys they didn’t.

I don’t like what he’s doing but history will remember GGG, Lara, Kovalev(even if he was shot), Cotto, undisputed at SMW. And Oscar can say what he wants but he had no issues promoting Canelo vs Khan and saying Canelo was too small while promoting Canelo vs Chaves Jr at 170 the very next fight.

The UFC is prospering because they are consistently making their champions fight top contenders consistently. If the UFC operated like boxing Mcgregor would have been allowed to duck Khabib while he was the LW champion.

I'm lukewarm on Canelo but him telling Turkey where to go has only made him go up in my estimation.

Beterbiev
Benavidez
Usyk

That's it. If it were up to me I'd make him fight Zhang with 4oz MMA gloves.

 

I'm a fan of boxing,

I watch fighters that I don't like fight all the time even when they fight bouts that you know won't be competitive. This fight in particular I will be cheering for Canelo (who I'm not even a fan of) because I dislike Berlanga even more.

So no, I'm not "done" with Canelo

 

I'm not a Canelo supported but i have watched all his PPV's live

People drag me out and I couldnt say no.

this is finally the fight that is absolutely pointless to me and i won't attend

EDIT: i did skip GGG 3 because that was an abject con fighting a 41yr old man....yet this is even worse.

 

ROFLMAO I have NEVER bought a Canelo or a Mayweather PPV EVER!! I refuse to give 2 cents to those two pathetic creatures. Do you guys , that keep buying their scam so called fights , realize its YOU guys that are helping make them two of the richest con men in the world. Every sensible knowledgeable boxing fan KNOWS Canelo NEVER legitimately beat GGG The Vegas judges gave him the first two Gennadiy used the third for a nice easy pay check he just played with Canelo
