I kno I am. It's about time. He is an exciting fighter and I think will receive the deserved hype by fighting on HBO as opposed to Showtime.

Quite frankly i'm surprised that showtime let him go. After all, they were touting him to be their poster boy, after hyping him up for the better part of two years.

Don't forget they'll try to spin their first fight as a close, competitive fight, in order to justify the rematch.

Yep. I'm glad Chad is gonna be on HBO for now on, he's definetely the type of fighter HBO needs, cause they need some bigger guys to headline their shows. The only thing I worry about is will Chad fail as a headliner on a HBO card, because he doesn't have much competition out there at 175!

Why, showtime got the fights people won'ted to see in ademak, tarver and Johnson, It doesn't matter, HBO mite be able to get a fight with calzaghe for Dawson.

Hell yea! Their gonna tell Tarver to say something like the only reason he lost was cause he injured his hand in training, or he was sick, or something like that. Then they're gonna say he's looking way more determined & they're gonna use the fact that every rematch Tarver has had, he's won.

Not as popular as HBO PPV. Therefore, not as much money.

Does him being on HBO give him a better chance at Calzaghe?

Yeah its a shame his next fight is against tarver again, tarver looked like a grandad trying to stand up to a vicious youth

Well said my man, but I'm not worried about that. Check out when he had to fight Mendoza (that when Diocanu (s?)) had to with draw. Chad was still made it exciting because his skills alone are something to behold, and the general masses love a good KO.

This is great for Chad, and about damn time IMO. I think those article Hausler has been writing lit some fire under the ass of HBO to either get some good **** on, or the public is gonna say "peace".

THat would be up to Calzaghe, but I would guess yes it does. HBO comes with a LOT more $$$ for thier fighters and fighters in general want to fight on HBO.

    True answer......NOTHING.

But HBO spends a lot more on their fighters and production costs, making it "seem" more of a big time thing.

and again, HBO spends a lot more $$$$$.:D
