    Yeah, gutted for the bloke.

I didn't watch the fight but on paper it seems a bit disturbing that he was beat on home turf by a guy with such a shoddy looking record and resume.

May be time to consider retirement.

You have no idea what "shot" actually means, Thaxton is just beyond his best

No reason for me to be 'gutted' about this. He got beat fair and square in his own backyard by someone who did his homework extremely well. After seeing Jono a few times on ITV he does seem like a genuinely decent guy however I have to admit I was support Mezacche, much in the same way many many people always support anyone but *****

Its a tough sport and Thaxton should stop wasting his breath about a world title. He's found his level.
I saw him get completely taken apart by Romanov at York Hall not long ago. Utterly dissected.
He's a good test for British up and comers now, and an exciting British level fighter.
No need to feel gutted for him.

I don't as such, but he needs to step up now and show us what he is made of. ***** is world class in waiting, he just needs to show us.

I just can't stand the fact that he thinks he is a star already, even though he has achieved **** all. In fact he thinks he's five stars, the pretentious git.

his punch resistance has gone he was almost put on his arse by a none puncher, his staminas gone as well hes a 6 round fighter at best, the only thing that remains is a bit of power but that dies down after 4 rounds.
Thaxtons time is over i feel bad for him he should have gotten a big pay day fight against murray or khan and its unlikely that he'll ever get in the ring with either of them. he had a second chance after the romanov fight i doubt hennesy will give him another oppertunity at the big time

Say..if Khan loses against Barrera, a very possible outcome, Frank Warren could well make the matchup with Thaxton, that 'Thaxton has chased' for so long?

thaxtons opponent looked about two divisions lighter.YES thaxton did look shot and would probably be fodder for iron chin khan
