Is anyone else impressed with Kovalev's boxing skills?

    People were thinking this guy was just a one dimensional brawler whom BHop would school. Kovalev beat BHop at his own game and completely schooled him without losing a round. He could have taken him out if he wanted to.

    Kovalev isn't just a puncher, he's a SMART skilled boxer.:deal

    No. Hopkins is 50. I have nothing against Kovalev, but you are supposed to beat 50 year old men if you are worth a damn. He did what he was supposed to do.

    Yes but he beat him with skill AND youth. I still think Kov looked uncomfortable backed up and a little shaky.

    He was excellent tonight.

    Everytime Hopkins opened up he was hurt.

    Great performance by both Kovalev and Hopkins.

    Because they are overrated fighters. Real deals beat 50 year old greats no matter how good they are.

    Kovalev had a plan stuck to it and did not get in a bhop kind of fight. Very good discipline

    most fighters get sucked into a bhop close combat fight
