I only read one part but it was pretty interesting. I saved it on my favorites so I can read them all today. Murad Muhammad is a low life, but you got to admit. He was in a big part history in boxing. From Ali to Pacquiao. I actually think without Muhammad, Pacquiao would be just an ok fighter in Asia.

He was his first major US promoter.

Its very interesting read, Herbert Muhammad pretty much linked Murad Muhammad, Bob Arum, Don King to Ali. Butch Lewis was the other big promoter and they were all link to Muhammad Ali so they all knew each other from way back then. Tells inside stories about Don & Arum and just the promotion business.

The guy also promoted some top fighters like RJJ, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad.

Probably, none of the other promoters wanted him and he got Pac known by putting him on big main events undercard, undercard for DLH and Lewis-Tyson fights, after he showed up his skills there he managed to get him the fight with MAB followed by JMM & Morales.

Lol, loved the part about him jumping on to Arum ready to poke him in the eye cos he was a martial artist and Arum was throwing a tantrum.

I'm on 8 page. Not sure how much of it is ture but hearing it from Murad's mouth. Sounds like forrest gump of boxing. Forrest was around some major events of history. From the war to the 60's to some big speech from the president, start of aids, ping pong champ. Murad was around when the big 2 promoters was created, created HBO, Rocky got the jumping up move from one of the fights her promoted, start of Pacman era. you would think he was the most honest man in boxing lol.

Great read. Murad said MAB was shaking because he tried to use illegal wraps but got caught before the fight. He was even labled the cleanest promoter by the FBI. :rofl

yeah i read about it, no promoter would take pacquiao in because he got Knocked out in one of his title defenses-- the same thing the mayweather's and fans like nallege has been mouthing off all day (which makes me think, if nallege was a promoter, he would have missed out on the opportunity of promoting Pacman)

But Murad knew better than to look at one fight (the Knockout) alone. he went on to watch several of manny's tapes and he noticed how manny's opponents were dropping like flies with punches he couldn't see. so he signed him up as a late-replacement opponent for ledwaba to the dismay of the people in charge for the fight. they were thinking it was a brutal mismatch in favor of ledwaba.

Murad went on to tell his story of how he signed up pacquiao for every undercard there is in america and how bob arum didn't want to give morales to pacquiao after he beat barrera
