Is anyone else surprised Fury Whyte isn't postponed or delayed?

Still a good chance either (or both) fail a drug test. Whyte might sleep in past the alarm clock. Fury could get Covid. Or retire... Less of a lock than any other fight could be with this little time left.

 

The fight was always going to happen as expected. If either man pulled out they would be an idiot. This is the biggest payday Whyte has ever gotten and will ever get, and this is a big guaranteed purse for Fury as well, similar to his Wilder trilogy guaranteed amount for a far less dangerous and easier opponent.

 

For me the fight was already delayed, because I thought it was last weekend, until I found out it wasn't.

 

Warren is a shocking promoter, he is very lucky the Fury name has sold the tickets for him, the press conference could have been massive like a UFC weigh in, instead we got it in a primary school auditorium with a solid hour of eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

 

I assumed I would order it but have decided not to based on the undercard. I'm not going to reward them for doing that.

No, tbh. The main even doesn't really need promoting, and the undercard can't be promoted.

Whyte is proving a point that if he is putting a show on, he should get paid more.

The reality is when he loses to Fury he'll never get close to this payday again.
