Is anyone else suspicious about how long it's taking to get Brook-Spence confirmed?

Eddie Hearn keeps saying the announcement is coming "in a few days" and still we have nothing. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I understand it might take a lot of work to get the fight sorted at a stadium (Bramall Lane) and that could be the reason for the delay.

He was also right that Pacquiao-Khan would fall apart. Is he secretly trying to do a deal to bring Pacquiao to fight Brook at the O2 in London for the summer? It would be absolutely huge - big money, PPV, unification fight. Manny has never fought in the UK and has stated in the past he wants to fight there one day. Does Hearn have the cash to bring him over? My answer is yes - he has the backing of Sky (who gush over Pacquiao any chance they get).

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it...but something similar happened prior to the propsed Brook-Vargas fight and the Golovkin bout was unexpectedly announced.

Well after the recent debacle with the light heavy clash cancelled I could see why you'd be paranoid, that said Brook himself seems to have pride and could have vacated a while ago

To be honest I think he will fight Spence and a bout with Manny would be very unlikely. He would probably have to make his biggest ever offer to a fighter to bring him over. However, it would do huge numbers in the UK (north of 500,000 PPV buys) sell out 20,000 tickets and probably be shown on HBO in the States most likely. I think it makes sense...

If a fight with Pacquiao was to materialise, would Brook have to vacate the IBF title?

They have to get council approval to hold an event that's not football related at Bramall Lane, anyone familiar with the civil service in the UK knows how long they take to get stuff moving. They've requested permission of a 29,000 capacity for the event. They are just waiting for the OK before they announce.

No not at all. It's pretty much a done deal and will happen.

Brook has pride and guts, got to respect that. I think this fight happens. I hope it happens. Great fight and will answer questions for both men.
