This thread is a good one, most posters are being unbias and objective. So sod off and try the thousands of polluted threads where immature posters like you can post. ok?
Under the law, sure, but this isn't the law, it's professional sports, and if you believe everyone is innocent you're a god damn fool. If we're assuming everyone is innocent then there's no need to test anybody at all and we can let cheating run rampant like MLB pre 2004.
Please don't flatter yourself. The point is do you have any idea how many athletes have cheated tests over the years? I'm just not as naive as you.
I happen to think Pacquiao is innocent. I've been following what's going on quietly since I honestly don't know much about doping and test regulations. However, I do sympathize with Pacquiao about taking out blood while training or before the fight. Everytime I get blood taken out I ask if it's ok for me to work out that same day or days later and they always tell me yes, but I just don't feel the same, and right now it doesn't matter if it's only a tiny sample of blood, that mental block is there and even if it isn't a real physical disadvantage I believe it is a big mental one.
Honestly come fight night, yes. But the problem for me (not sure about Manny) is that I would be feeling kind of weird at one of the most important stages of my training camp. But to go beyond just what you asked me, if I was Manny I would take the fight with those stipualtions, the problem is that I'm not Manny and I don't feel like I should fault him for standing up for what he believes and taking no chances at all to not be at his best for the biggest fight of his life.
That has virtually zero relevance. We can't be sure Calderon isn't doping, so should we treat him suspectly?
Anybody ever been stopped for "driving under the in influence",try telling the Cops ,well I`ll tell tou when to take the test .Guess what.they assume your guilty & charge your sorry ass. Why,because your trying to F*****g hide something. If Pacquiao has no fear of testing positive ,he would have no time stipulations at all,period..
I dont think this has anything to do with Floyd's fans (does he have any?). Boxing fans in general are suspicious of Manny's refusal to accept the random testing. If any other boxer had asked him to take the tests and he had refused, people would still be questioning his innocence.
It's amazing that people are so outraged that Manny is on steroids, with all the evidence of rumor, yet nobody gives a **** amout RJJ, Mosely, Vargas, RTOney, Hollyfield etc. :yep
It would have been a big deal if a fight couldn't be made because they refused random tests. Floyd is trying to make sure that the strict testing happens before the fight instead of after the fight. This is the first time a fight could not have been made because of 1 sides refusal of certain drug tests.
lol. it's also the first time someone has REQUESTED such strict testing! They're both to blame man..but whatever. Boxing is going down the toilet.
