    I mean I'm a huge fan of the " sweet science ", but their is nothing entertaining to me about the kid. This diving in hitting and holding style that he wins with is effective, but I would be astonished if anyone here feels it's also entertaining. What does the forum feel?

    Well an hour and a half ago I was watching Wards fight against Bika on youtube.

    I woke up about 20 minutes ago. I actually fell asleep watching it.

    So to you it's what? Bearable? I mean how can we rank this guy greatest pound for pound anything when he fights with a style you have to eek your way through when watching? :tired:tired:tired

    I think Andre Ward is brilliant. He is the most technically gifted fighter I've ever seen. That is reason enough to want to watch him fight, you learn more from watching him fight than watching 10 ordinary fights with sloppy fighters. And his fights lately have been brutal tough fights, he does not run like Andre Dirrell.

    The Kessler fight was entertaining, so was the Miranda fight, the Green fight was horrible, the Bika fight I havent yet seen and dont think I want to by the sounds of it. Hes become a bit too Hopkins-esque, Hopefully Ward hasnt turned into the American Ricky Hatton

    I actually liked watching him work in the kessler and Green fights but last night he put me to sleep. I honestly didn't think he landed anything, just holding and pat punches on the inside. Boring fight and awful dirty performance.

    And to think I was going to watch his fight live last night instead of Marquez, Then I had a quick change of mind and decided to watch Marquez instead. Thank god, if I didn't change my mind I would have missed that amazing performance, and instead would of had to sit through that 12 round hug/elbow fest.

    I cant say who is the MAN at 168, but what I can say is that I would certainly rather watch Bute fight over Ward.

    so did i while watching last night. its ridiculous. He's way more talented than that yet he fights with this style he feels is more aggressive yet the referee gets a bigger workout than the fighters.

    He's decent, contrary to belief he does not "adapt", he's not versatile ala Floyd Mayweather. He's taken a page out of Hopkins book, keeps his hands up at all times and throws short, straight punches. Does lots of rough stuff but nothing fantastic.

    He's a tough worker, will never have a "WOW" performance, he's not Floyd Mayweather, Floyd is PERFECT, Ward is just dirty but reliable.
