this board is notorious for hating black american fighters. You have guys that love Ricky Hatton, but hate Andre Ward.

 

Any fight with Bika is bound to be a bit on the ugly side. He likes the ropes. He's not above a bit of wrestling plus holding and hitting. And its not like he hasn't had a few point deductions in his career.

Sometimes you have to give guys like that a taste of their own medicine and that's what Ward did.

 

Well I dont like it either, if he just had even little bit more power at his punches but no.. he is complete boxer seems like he can do it everything at ring.. that being said i doubt big audience like his style either and to add he seems to pretty nice and down to earth kind of guy and doesnt raise any hate or love on him either..

I think NOBODY gonna beat him at his division thou. got to give his props but he is just horrible to watch IMO.:yep

 

I personally don`t hate Ward. But I don`t like him either. He is not fun to watch. I hate Mayweather, but I like to watch his fights. Zab Judah is fun to watch, both ways...... haha

 

I am not really a fan of guys like Ward, Dawson, Williams, Bradley, Hopkins, Berto and Alexander. Sometimes all that so called slick stuff is just boring and I prefer an all out war or a destroyer like Tyson, Nigel Benn or Naz something like that.

I have no problem with people disliking Ward's style. I just want to see consistency on this board. You'll see people on this board praise a limited boxer, but hate a black american who is more skilled using that same exact style.

Seems like Ward, Dirrell, Froch all these guys @ SMW none are electrifying none are superstars. Bute sticks out like a sore thumb because he is exciting to watch. How is this guy Stolgeitz ?
