Is anyone honestly shocked by the Pavlik fight

No, I predicted TKO8 but even with it being all over sooner than that it was only likely to end one way I thought. Pavlik marmalized him.

 

I predicted a very early KO - and Pavlik didn't disappoint, so congrats to him. It was a mandatory fight, so it had to be made, but Lockett was an absolutely undeserving challenger so beating him means absolutely nothing for a P4P-er... The polls were like 95% in favor of a Pavlik KO! atsch

But then again: it was a mandatory...

On Pavlik's performance none . . . that was expected.

But on Locket yes . . . I was shocked how stupid he can be standing in front of Pavlik. You do that against Pav . . . it's suicide.

Lockett was awful and it was the first time i actually wondered what the **** did i stay up until 4am for, for a fight.

On the plus side for Pavlik he did what he had to do and enhanced his already growing "destroyer" reputation.

I think he said after the fight Lockett got in ONE shot in the first. When he saw it didn't phase Kelly it was probably all over at that point. I had a 'halting' sopcast feed, so I could be wrong about that.

 

After that 'mandatory' the WBC is right there with them.
