I dont even think Wlad will be champion in 2 years. I think Arreola is gonna beat him.

He beat that man with only 12 fights under his belt! I'll tell you what,it was a better win then Wlad beating up a 40 year old cruiserweight and needing 4 rounds. Mormeck? That opponent was a disgrace.

    - and that's where your logic breaks down. Bigger guys simply do NOT move as fast as smaller HW's, if the smaller man is in good shape. The bigger guys also tend to gas out in the later rounds. That's a physiological law, you can't train it away.

    And two more, final words:

    Mike

    Tyson.

Bigger guys from previous eras who did not move with as much agility due to different training methods and less knowledge on how to get agility into bigger frames. We have completely different training methods, knowledge of nutrition and boxing routines these days

ps, had Mike Tyson fought the 6'5 Lennox Lewis in their primes, prime for prime? Lennox would have crushed him.

Green Wlad was knocked out by Brewster.

Experienced Wlad knocked Lamon Brewster out and effectively ended his career.

It's not to say you won't have situations where a small fighter wins a fight they weren't expected to win - it's boxing, a good punch lands, goodnight.

But in the whole scheme of things, dominance will be the bigger athletes, it's case and fact across almost every sport at the moment.

MMA is a prime example (For a sport with shorter time frame origins, therefore more ability to analyse where the growth has headed) - if you're not 240, 6'3 + in MMA, forget about being a HW.

what, Evander Holyfield wouldn't clean out this fatass division? Nevin Pajkic dropped Fury with a single shot.

Prime Evander Holyfield would easily beat the current version of Tyson Fury, I don't dispute that. Tyson Fury also only has 18 fights to this point and didn't have the amazing amateur career Evander had.

Tyson Fury when he's a bit more seasoned? Who knows. He's probably the least able of the bigger boys I mentioned as a boxer. ps, Pavjik - 6'3, 240lbs.
