Im not paying ****.......PBF HASNT BEEN IN A THRILLING FIGHT IN i DONT KNOW HOW LONG AND RICKY LIKES TO HUG, THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE AN UGLY BORING CONTEST. I will be seeing it for free..I would pay for Cotto vs Hatton..... or Manny vs Marquez. I only pay for Manny and Cotto they come to kTFO of someone and are thrilling to watch and only against live opponents will I pay. If Manny or Cotto fight a stiff I expect to watch that for free.

What the hell do you know Ellerbe, you get into all the fights for free.

You know little about the average working man.

Yup cause all his fights were like Baldomir fight.

    DLh was a good fight.

Judah was a really good fight.

    Gatti was a good fight.

    Ndou was awesome.

I can go on and on.

I agree, waste of money. It's insane the amount of hype and attention this fight is receiving. Hatton is fighting in the wrong weight class and hasn't looked good in ages, yet somehow people think he stands a chance against Mayweather?! Mayweather will easily out punch and run the whole night, getting an easy UD. Cotto better be his next fight!!!

I had to order for 2 reasons. 1, I have money riding on the outcome.
2, Hatton has a punchers chance. I would hate to miss the upset of the century should the highly unlikely happen

I agree with you here. Its a great fight IMO.

Mayorga vs. Vargas is the kind of **** that I refuse to order.

This is bigger than any other PPV fights in the whole 2007 . . . at least for me.

Two undefeated Champs; two belt ring holders; the two most HYPED fighters are fighting and people are saying it's not worth? :patsch

    Goddammit! :smoke

Any boxing fan who says this is not worth buying is either . . . just in denial or simply doesn't have the dough to buy it.

I'm not going to the bar this week and spend $ 120 drinks for those bitches in there just for me to watch this fight.

    :yep :D

    LMAO !!!!!!!

    So true.

50-60$ is so easily pissed away once you in there. Some charge an entrance fee the night of the fight, then you get hungry, you get thirsty, you wants real drinks, sometimes you pay for your friends too...

The two are of equal worth (true worth of a fight: sorting out the landscape of the elite picture in their respective divisions), which is to say none. Vargas-Mayorga was at least if nothing else an entertaining brawl. Which I anticipated it to be, and so bought it. This, however, is a fight that I personally never clamored for; one with a pretty predictable outcome, one that especially in the wake of the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight makes little sense (the very mention of it as a possible fight back during FMJ's "retirement" was laughed at by many including myself).

I'm lukewarm toward both fighters. I don't particularly care one way or the other about the prospect of either having a loss on their record. Ring belts don't impress me any more than ABCs.

I can counter just about every reason that can be brought up why this is such a can't-miss fight. Bottom line, if you're willing to pay $55, you either love one guy (or both), or hate one guy, or a little from column a and a little from column b. Like I said, I'm lukewarm toward both, so I don't fall in any of those categories. Add in the hefty pricetag and the weak undercard, and the fact that I'm broke, and have to be up for work at 5 in the morning, and it would be insane for me to pay for this fight just to prove that I am as diehard a boxing fan as the next guy. I buy the fights I can't miss live. I can miss this one live. If you can't, that's your personal preference - nothing to do with being a more avid or serious boxing fan.

Nah I don't go to the bar to watch fights :D . . . I go there to play with my bitches.

When I watch fights, me and my friends watch it all together in my backyard while we party and barcebcue. Just like what we are doing now.

    :good :yep

I like boxing but won't buy PPVs.

Why can't I just go down to the local movie theater and they have it on the big screen at 5 bucks a head? That's what I want. Think of how much money that would make from cheap *******s like me.

    (fyi, I'm on sopcast)
