Since I paid for a stream, I'm watching it. But there's no way in hell I would've paid 64.95 for this fight. I don't like/hate Mayweather enough and I don't like/hate Hatton enough. But since it's the last great matchup of a great year, I figure I'll watch it.

    Very reasonable man. :nod

It's astonishing how the huggers and haters don't realize that those with moderate feelings toward these two fighters might not see it as the event of the century. :patsch

Styles make fights. It is the contrast in their respective styles which could produce and interesting match if they both bring their A-game. Floyd's previous matches did not have the potential to produce as much fireworks. Just because De La Hoya is a world class boxer, does not mean that he is always going to put on a blockbuster fight. DLH vs. Hatton will always be a more crowd pleasing match than DLH vs. Mayweather .

Not a fact, dude. Totally subjective. After DLH-PBF, many people (myself included) laughed at the idea of this fight the same way people have been laughing at the idea of DLH-Pacquiao. Floyd has carried LMW comfortably. Ricky has struggled in his previous foray up to welter. It's a size and talent mismatch - that's first of all. Second, how many top welters has either guy fought lately (top talent, don't bring up the belts...) Neither of these guys has even fought at welterweight in 2007 - so tell me how this is significant to the division? You could argue that it is important on a p4p level - but again p4p rankins are all subjective, however much people might like to think otherwise. This is a big fight only to those who choose to see it as a big fight because they are emotionally vested in it for some reason (big Ricky fans, Ricky haters, Floyd fans, Floyd haters, or just overall susceptible to being swept up by hyped media-friendly fights in general)

Exactly!! this doesnt mean anything its a I dont know what Mayweather is wsince he dropped his 154lb title belt and hasnt fought anyone significant at Welterweight and a 140 lb tittle holder. Seems like a mismatch to begin with but ima go watch it at a friends house. FOR FREE like it shoudl have been to begin with.

The prices are riddiculous for PPV, but what can you do? If you really need the money, just wait until next week to see it. They were already saying it was going to bea successful ppv weeks ago.

I was trying to Sopcast the thing and couldn't get a connection so I ended up buying the card starting from the 2nd round of the De Leon-whatever his name was fight.

I was very impressed with the Mayweather-Hatton fight. Expensive...YES, Entertaining....YES. Undercard....sh*t as usual.
