That's the thing. Even if people talk bad about him or have a derogatory avatar of him guess what? That still gives him the recognition he loves. People forget that.

I'm sorry, but if you have him as #1 p4p after beating a fat Marquez and an old Mosley, you are on his nuts.

 

I'm a fan. I think he's highly skilled and one of the best to ever do it. I don't know him personally so I have no way to like or dislike him based on that, and I don't understand how people who have never met him can say they don't Mayweather the person. By most of the accounts that I have heard, he is a very nice and humble person. The only time people observe him talking ****, is when he's preparing for combat with a guy who's going to try and knock his head off....didn't realize he was required to be nice in that situation.

He's certainly not perfect, no one is. His rant against Pacquiao was wrong..period.

 

Marquez was in the same shape as always, he just didn't have to cut any weight for this fight. And nobody was saying anything about Mosley being old before Floyd signed the contract. Everybody was saying that Mosley was the true WW champ, and that Floyd was scared and would get knocked out. Then once Floyd schooled him, the excuses came flooding out. People don't realize but that is the type of stuff that can contribute to why he wouldn't wanna fight Pacquiao. If he beats him, he won't get any credit, people will just make excuses to try and diminish the win.

 

Fan of Mayweather the boxer NOT Mayweather the "celebrity personality". Which looks more and more like it's his actual personality.

 

Honestly, I don't see how anyone can be a hardcore, unwavering fans of his...I'm still a fan...I admire what he does in the ring, but who can possibly say they aren't disgusted by some of his behavior?

 

as if de la hoya, margarito, cotto, n hatton were not old or at least not coming off of a knockout or ass whooping...

All three looked horrible in the fights leading up to fighting pac

i stopped coming to this site n other boxing sites because pac proponents are so stupid and justifying of everything he does....the guy can literally do no wrong..

I enjoyed the fight last week but how in the hell can u gain more credibility for getting a second made up belt and beating a guy not in anyones top ten since getting knocked out and suspended for a year...

Pac can fight muhammad ali today and every sports news agency will validate him beating up a sick old man with parkisons, whose only advantage is that he weighs over 200lbs
