Is anyone picking easter to pull off the upset

Easter doesn't suck.

At all.

He has incredible hand speed, a deadly jab, and IMO he's the best body puncher in the game, with the possible exception of Spence. Why he has so little power up top is a mystery.

Sadly, and oddly, despite his height & huge reach, he likes to fight close, which is basically absurd. (except for that excellent body attack. Easter has at least 5 KO's from body shots.)

I think Mikey will be too much for him, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up a massively entertaining fight.

 

this will be mikeys easiest fight since rojas. there are about 3 separate degrees of skill, power and intelligence between mikey and easter. its a pit bull vs a doberman.

I personally don't think he will but Easter if he plays his cards right can win for sure.

 

It's style over substance imo.
I think it all comes down to Easters chin. Can he take the punishment? Because it´s coming!
But Easter likes to work, something that does not play into Mikey's hands. Mikey rarely moves his head. He likes to catch and shoot and preemptively counter. (He counters before you throw the punch, which is ****ing beautiful!)
Easter is going to apply volume and land punches because of it.

 

No, Easter looked average against Fortuna.
Mikey will win comfortably without breaking a sweat.

 

Easter having a bad showing against Fortuna doesn't negate his physical advantages over Mikey. This is a fairly interesting match up.

But Easter did look bad against Fortuna, so there's no way I'd pick him to upset Mikey.

This. Easter doesn't have the punch output or power to be any threat to Mikey. The only reason Broner wasn't ran over is because he occasionally landed some power shots on Mikey, but was still easily outboxed. If Mikey doesn't feel any power coming from Easter I see him stepping on the gas and ending it quickly.

I think that Easter might of lacked motivation in his last couple of fights. He will certainly be up for this Easter is clearly talented an appears to have a good chin so an upset would not shock me the guy is huge for a lightweight.

 

You're the guy that runs from a fight where your friend is left outnumbered. A world champion boxer does not suck. In fact, I'd say you'd be willing to suck just to escape having your aas handed to you. Only someone who talks such a big game has no game at all.
