How can anyone in there right mind be looking forward to a rematch of an overhyped event which is all about boosting Floyd Mayweathers bank account by beating a past his prime Oscar? These are the fights which do Boxing harm the fight everyone is crying out for is Mayweather-Cotto its hot right now I honestly want to see Floyd tested not coast to an easy win over Oscar.

Floyd-Cotto is the best fight at welter. Some people have the mindset that Cotto has to prove himself against Cintron or Margarito before getting a shot at Floyd, I think thats BS. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see those fights, I just think Cotto has seperated himself from the pack and provides the sternest test for Floyd at welterweight. Mayweather hasn't seen a test at welter since he moved up or even looked for one. I have no doubt about Floyds talent, but instead of other top fighters eliminating each other for the right to fight Floyd, I think Floyd should be eliminating all the top fighters to cement an all time great legacy.

Maybe they should just have a "staged fight" like Ali-Marciano did
back in the the late 60's and have different endings depending
on where the "fight" is released.

Somewhat but not much. I enjoyed the first fight it was a high class chess match not the fight u feel like paying 60 bucks for or ever rewatching but still a solid fight threw 8 when Oscars jab and high guard pressure kept it competitive. I think Floyd Sr is much better for Oscar then Freddie Roach is and I believe Oscar has a chance agian im curious to see what happens. But ill be honest if u said Jimmie what u want more Mosley or Cotto vs Mayweather or Mayweather vs Oscar agian ? Im going Mosley or Cotto aside from Floyd those are the true elite proven Welterweights.

Dlh needs to fight somebody his own size, Floyd should fight Cotto.

Not at all, just curious what forbidden name they are going to use for promoting the fight. The World Awaits 2, don't think so.

Though i like both fighters they just do not perform well together. However, I can understand why the fight is made. I'm assuming the fight is at 154 but probably will not watch it. DLH is fighting to retire. When someone is fighting to retire they tend to loose. If DLH wins Floyd has already given up the belt he took from DLH so DLH would not even win a championship. All he would get is being able to say he beat #1 P4P in the world. Bragging rights, but does nothing for me or boxing fans. Floyd is doing this for the money and will wave retirement in front of him again after he outscores DLH to victory. Then he might come back to fight Cotto but who knows, we've all seen how fighters can be booked a year ahead and you might wait two years for that fight. I'll watch the fight on Youtube or something but definately not gonna order it. Very dissappointing indeed with Cotto and PBF. That's like Trinidad and DLH not wanting to fight each other because they both wanted a past prime Leonard instead.

I actually am now. Now im hoping DLH beats PBF.
Do you guys realize that if PBF beats DLH we are gonna have to more than likely be watching PBF-Hatton 2?
I would rather have DLH beat PBF because if Oscar is true to his word and this is his last year then he more than likely wont be having the rubbermatch with PBF. Great win to go out on.
PBF would be criticized and might actually take on Cotto to get some credibility back.

    Please Oscar win.
