Is anyone really taking De La Hoya v Pacquiao seriously???

I am. And I have a feeling that this fight is going to be one of those fights that we will be talking about a long time, possibly because of the all out-war it turned out to be. I have a feeling that Oscar is going to hit the floor and get cut on this one. Hopefully Pacman will be the winner at then end of the night....:good

 

No I;m not taking it seriously but I do want to know what secret and flaw he saw in Oscar in the PBF fight that he will use against Oscar. He said this on the 24/7 show.

It's just Roach trying to tease people. It's no secret. It was obviously his lack of stamina that caused him to fade. Roach has become an annoying ***** who seems to think he's a big star now or something. He was better when he was just humble.

I don't take this fight seriously, and wouldn't spend a penny to watch it.
Also lost respect for DLH.
If Manny kicks his ass it would be what Oscar deserves.

people need to realise that PBF vs Oscar was also a circus fight and it still made 120million$

 

This fight is WINNABLE for Pacquaio, albeit he's much smaller and Oscar has a chin. This WILL hurt Pacquaio somewhat in terms of pound for pound if he loses, it can't not hurt him. As far as I'm concerned, any time someone fights, they are risking something. If they have the potential to gain, there must be SOME downside. Otherwise, someone could get to top spot and then start fighting at a much higher weight, never risking their status. It wouldn't make sense. Sure, it won't hurt him much, but it will to a degree. There are no "free fights" where you can gain but not lose.

I'm interested to see how this turns out, but of course, there were better fights to be made.

 

no. i think both fighters already have a plan for the next fight and this is just a once in a lifetime opportunity to make obscene amounts of cash in a fight where the loser wont lose any credibility or standing (provided manny loses of course). as far as a business venture, this fight has to rank amongst the biggest deals ever made in boxing when you consider the 2 unlikely combatants.
