it is an atg fight which does not happen often. they would at least try to make it decent for the history books although there are still lingering advantages with a hometown venue and not transparent and no check and balance drug testing.

Bull Feces !!! If Floyd cared about not handicapping his opponent he'd face Manny in a neutral arena with neutral officials. Also he wouldn't need Xylocaine which is illegal in other states. Vegas are the ones being watched closely here The whole world is watching. If Vegas hope to lose the title of the most corrupt commission, along with The CASC then they must give Floyd's opponent an even playing field Just for Once

Aren't the Reyes Gloves a little smaller in legal striking area are in comparison to the Grant Brand?

Mayweather might want Pac to have the smaller gloves for so its harder for him to land.

Why would we be surprised? The only fighter he faced that was ever "forced" to wear different gloves than intended is because the commission didn't approve the first pair of gloves Maidana tried to wear in their first fight.

 

Floyd = Lidocaine
Manny = Preferred gloves

I genuinely believe, Floyd will be going out on a limb in this fight. His hands will be pumped full of lidocaine (xylocaine) so he can throw bombs as hard as he likes. I just hope it back fires and breaks his hand, then Manny would take advantage and give him the beating he has been asking for all these years.

 

pure ignorance, you really should do some research, Nevada is the ONLY commission that has Xyloclaine as a banned substance AND is the ONLY commission that actively tests for it.

its legal all the way up till pre fight urine tests, as long as its not in your system you're fine. its NOT illegal to use during training too, you just cannot use it on fight night, Nevada commissions says you can use it all the way up to a week prior to the fight, how they would know is beyond me BUT, its legal for use just not on fight night

Exactly, unless the boxer has a prescription by a doctor or commissioner to use the xylocaine...see DelaHoya vs Hopkins for instance.
