A fighter can lose alot of weight in two months time, so let's hope Arreola gets crackin' and gets in as good of shape as his very limited self control will allow him to.

    LOL

He looks like the Las Vegas version of Elvis in that photo.

It's Arreola's weight that makes you all think that Vitali will win? Arreola can come in at a career-low and in top shape and Vitali beats him.

Very true but that arreloa might at least last a few rounds and put up a fight, one in this shape is in for a beating.

A plodder is always doomed to fail against Vitali Klitschko. See the Williams and Peter fights. Vitali's got a high workrate and he's very difficult to hit cleanly. Arreola will be reduced to trying to eat 2 or 3 punches to land 1 and nobody seems to make it past 8 or 9 rounds when doing that. Even if a guy does land a clean shot Vitali's chin is good enough to withstand it so then what? Vitali's not just throwing pawing jabs in there. He's dropping big right hands and moving out of the way both hurting and frustrating the opponent at the same time. After about 6 or 7 rounds of this the opponent already realizes that the fight is unwinnable and if they don't feel this way they are usually in no position to do anything anyway considering that Vitali has already taken the fight out of them with the accumulation effect.

Arroela has some big pluses going into this fight. Watch the way he dismantles Mcline. He does a nice job os stepping into his punches closing the gap faster than Mcline could slip away. Arroela knows how to fight a bigger men. Keep them on their back foot. Of course Mcline is a lesser opponent than Klitchko but at least Arroela is going in the right direction. IMO Arroela's style matches up well against the champ providing Arroela does not freeze up under the pressure.

Klitchko is a pretty good counter puncher who will let shots go while slipping stright back or off the the side. He don't load up but can do a lot of damage with just his arm strength without leaving himself wide open. He is a lot shiftier that most give him credit for. In his last fight it only took two rds for him to get Gomez on the defensive. He looked pretty good but Gomez was easy to discourage and was never a offensive fighter. I thought Gomez had a lot chances to let his hands go but the fight was beat out of him fast. That version of Klitchko will not have an easy time with the Arroela that beat Mcline.

I like this match up and give Chris a good chance. If it is not signed it should be I do not see a blow out at all. But a war Arroela can win if he don't let Klitchko or the big stage get to him. Arroeal needs to keep it simple, not worry about connect percentages and remember he has a fighter in front of him that cutts very easily. Stay close and move foward behind a sustained attack. His management should be looking for a smaller ring.

if the dude is an active boxer then there is no reason that 2 months should not suffice to get ready for a fight.

this guy is just pissing millions of dollars down the toilet

Its inexcusable to be that fat as a contender...man...get your ass in the gym...Hopkins didn't gain more than 10 pounds for like 15 years...wtf is wrong with Arreola....at least Chambers showed up in good shape last time....man Wlad and Vitali are the only heavyweights you can ever really expect to show up in great shape...yet another reason to be a fan of the brothers
