went to boxrec last night. he has been unable to stop opponents who have been knocked out several times before. people are overrating his ko win against taylor.

He set it up beautifully. He uses a throw away right hand to get Gevor in position for his hybrid hook/uppercut, the same exact way he KO'd Ayala.

yep, they both move right into the left as well... AA has real power in both hands.... Best p4p power? Very hard to say, but he certainly is one of the strongest punchers in Boxing.

As Ramalinga says, he does very little and still wins. Why, I don't know. Maybe he waits for his oppenant to punch himself out a little and then goes for it. Really, even though he CAN throw wide punches, he does have a couple of laser accurate right hand shots through the oppenants guard that are amazing (taylor being one). I personally don't know where he stands power wise but I will say he is the biggest KO artist / Procrastinator.

Yes, by far in my opinion, He could put someones lights out in ANY second of ANY Round 1 thru 12. That is what I call power for the full fight at any moment.

I voted "it's arguable" because there are several good hitters, but now i actually can't think of a name who's definitely ahead of him, power-wise. Abraham is a ****ing monster hitter who can make the opponent go from 100% fresh to discombobulated with a single punch... as he did with Taylor.

Most definitely if we're talking about 1 punch ko power. Pavlik has a better ko ratio than AA and Vitali is a TKO monster. However, there's nobody who punches with so much power. He really throws AbraHammers. I think a reason for not KOing some fighters that have been KTFO before is that he doesn't try to KO his opponents. It simply happens...and if it doesn't he's able to win by points.

AA is a kind of modern Julian Jackson. Haters will say he isn't, but tell me who has more power in his hands?

Well said. I don't think there is any question that if you judged every fighter on a true 'pound for pound' level, not divisionally, that David Haye packs a punch that would be well clear at the top.

I only hope he shows Valuev it. Because he's going to need to if he has any chance of toppling a mountain.

I think so. It's easier to make a case for him than for the other top contenders.

i thought taylor was out of it in the 8th/9th when he was on ***** street. a faster fighter would have left on him and knocked him down.
I dont think Abs goes looking for a KD he just has so much power he puts fighters to sleep.
    True 1punch KO power
