Is Arthur Abraham Proud of Illegally Injurying Dirrell?

Obviously like I said, he takes some pleasure from that which I don’t think is right and it’s totally wrong to foul blow somebody and then brag about it after and call the guy an ‘actor’. It was out of order."

I remember seeing the press-conference and Abraham and his promoter both persisted that Dirrell was "acting." At that point I thought that was very disgraceful and showed how genuine Abraham was when he called Dirrell a "good actor" in the post-fight press conference.

What do you guys think about this? When you see a fighter and even his promoter who's supposed to be professional throwing these sort of words out even now it looks pretty classless. What do Arthur Abraham fans think of this? Do they stand by him and actually believe Dirrell was acting. Even if you don't think the neurological damage is real (Which is another issue and you'd have to be a bit of cynic to assume it's untrue) don't you still think this is out of line. I'm not the biggest Froch fan, but obviously the guy is right in what he's saying. I know he's genuine, and also trying to get some people on his side in this sort of matchup. It was a smart thing to say but he's right.

I know there are some keyboard warriors that have never taken a punch that think Dirrell is faking. Hollywood needs to contact the guy because he's legitimately great at faking getting knocked out, and then to show the emotional duress in the post-fight interview. The guy's a regular De Niro. For the rest of you sane posters, what are your thoughts?

 

But this is not relevant. Supposedly he's proud of putting him in the hospital. He's basically proud that he hit a guy when he was down. That's pretty despicable and classless. Makes me want Froch to actually win. Even if he's delusional he's not unprincipled.

 

I saw him and his promoter (Sauerland) persisting with their belief that Dirrell was faking it during the Froch vs Abraham press conferenece. Someone made a thread and gave a link of that interview... it was about an hour long and I remember it occurring somewhere around the 40-50 minute mark of the video. Hopefully someone can re-post it but Froch basically confirms this kind of behavior.
