The problem is, HOF itself is lowering the bar.

With Barry McGuigan getting to the hall, one tenure as WBA champion and 3 defenses. Biggest win is against Eusebio Pedroza at the tail-end of his career.

Many others are so qualified to enter now. Gatti, Pazienza, Camacho Sr., JC Castillo among others. :patsch

Aside from a few names that dont belong in the hall. you get in the hall of fame based on ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE RING. Its not a popularity contest. Stallone didnt get in as a fighter. Its suppose to be about greatness in the ring. Nothing more. On that criteria **** no Gatti shouldnt be in. Many fighters were exciting. You wanna put emmanuel augustus in? he was exciting as hell

Jose Luis Castillo better get in before Gatti I know that much. He was part of one of the greastest fights ever, but he had a better resume than gatti. See what im saying? No Gatti is not worthy based on what the IBHOF is suppose to be about

Even Glen Johnson could be included. And Gatti was really a big fighter!

Rahman is a glass jawed fraud and no heart.. Gatti's heart is unquestionable plus he has 4 fight of the year award.. Dont compare Rahman to Gatti

I'd say yes, he's the true peoples champ, very well known and respected by casuals. Even just his trilogy with Ward is a great historic moment for the sport.
