Not entering into the WBSS. Seemingly not interested in fighting Taylor, Prograis, or Lipinets. I think he's a good fighter, but clearly being protected.
The way Arum sees it is he's treating his fighter well paying & building a "star" or hopefully in years to come ppv attraction. Record starts to build year after year & fan base/ticket sales increases. All press is good press even ducking fighters or tournaments.
The only way Top Rank fighters get into tournaments is if he knows his fighter is susceptible to lose to any fighter in the top 10. In other words, his fighter must have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
