Gamboa is a cuban deserter there is no way he is filling any stadiums in Cuba lol he might get shot if he goes to Cuba :deal

 

Don't b an idiot, we know who he is, and he is not a deserter he is a defector, it will come a time that professianal athltes from Cuba will b able to perform in front of his countrymen, the goverment in on life support.

 

You obviously have never ever been to Cuba or know very much about it. Gamboa would fill the Latinaomericano baseball stadium in Havana (55,000 seats) if he were allowed to fight there. I bet on that.

 

And more ppl would not b able to get in.

I doubt this fight happens anytime soon. Arum love him or hate him is a man of money, that's his job, the guys started promoting fights before he ever saw a live match, he's a businessman all the way. Right now though we as fans want this fight, he has one cash cow and one guy mostly unknown in Gamboa. It doesn't sell big enough yet to be worth risking both young stars, Arum knows that fight will have to generate big money and that the loser will need to be in a position for a fight that's winnable and big enough to get right back in the mix. It's about money, not boxing per say.
