Trout is interesting, has some skills but definitely isn't an elite fighter. Watching his "fight" against Rodriguez I just wonder if he can do enough to get a decision. Also wonder what type of chin he has. Got to say his resume is poor and this will be a big step up in class. I do think Cotto is shopworn and is there for the taking though.
I like Trout personally from what I've seen. He seems like a good guy. But here he was obviously picked to make Cotto shine. This fight is going to be Cotto by decision or stoppage. He will outbox Trout, out pressure him and might just catch him and finish him. I wonder about Trout's ability to handle shots to the body also.

He may be a threat but far from a winner vs Cotto. I think he will show a lot of heart but Cotto is just in another league.
i think his reach,speed and height along with his use of that uppercut will be to much for Cotto to be honest..Cotto will of course come to fight but i think he loses this one
People said the same thing about Yuri Foreman and we saw what happened with that. Trout is young, undefeated but untested. I think the experience will push Cotto into the winners circle.
