i seen this quote on a site i dont know how much is true but its a bit of a surprise to me if it is barrera and arum never seemed to be the best of buddys

As for Marco Antonio Barrera, if he wins his fight against Adilton De Jesus, he could get a crack at WBC

beltholder Humberto Soto. Arum also mentioned WBA titlist Miguel Acosta as another possibility.

    so is this true?

YES Barrera is now promoted by Arum and it's true that he's lined up to fight for the title soon.

    End thread?

Yeah, and it's stupid. Barrera is toast. Him beating up on a featherweight who got his ass kicked by Gamboa in Gamboa's 7th pro fight proves nothing.

On the undercard of Duddy-Chavez, next up Barrera-Morales IV. Viva Bob Arum, making our worst nightmares come true.

Last I heard, Barrera signed a 5-year contract with Don King. Barrera can't just unilaterally terminate a contract.

a new thought i recently seen pictures of barrera training in the wild card gym it couldnt be possible that roach is helping him is there i mean that would be amazingly crazy the amoutn of **** theyve talked about each other over the years lol

also i hope barrera gets a title shot always back fighters decisions i mean the first time barrera was considered done was 1996 and he kept defying what people thought again and again this one is a bit of a stretch but why not?
