PAC fought JMM at 130lbs. It was a great fight for both and it put JMM in the limelight coz of his performance!

PBF fans rejoice for beating JMM at 145lbs which is over 15lbs of his best fighting weight!

Yes, it's the same person but will you give the same credit!?!

If yes! then beating PAC at 145lbs is the same as PALVIK beating PAC at 160lbs:yep:lol:

No, it's not. IMO, JMM doesn't really belong in the WW div.

We wont know until after Mayweather or JMMs next fights.

Mayweather could well have just came back an improved
fighter over the break - and might be too slick for not only
    JMM, but everyone.

Or, JMM could continue to fail as a Welter, Mayweather
could get beaten - and then we will know if JMM is as
good at 145 as he was at 130.

Most posters will already say NO, just to discredit Mayweather,
which seems to be the theme around here, it was a ***** move
by Floyd to come in over the weight, but has nothing to do with
JMMs ability to fight at 145.

JMM was ATG at Feather and Superfeather...
JMM was (might still be) very good/ almost great at LW...
JMM was slow, sort of fat, his age beginning to show and somewhat average at Welterweight. I even think JWW is too high for JMM

No it isn't. Conversely, I give Mayweather more credit for his win over De la Hoya than I do Pacquiao. The Marquez that Mayweather faught was older and waaay out of his comfort zone than the Marquez that Pacquiao fought.

Above Deck, I could tell that this thread was made to just discredit May's win but I can't help thinking that Marquez looked like a shell of himself (even though May does have something to do with that...I don't think it was Floyd who made him appear completely average, fat and slow as if he was there to cash a check) he needs to get down to 135 where I think he and Funeka might make for a good ****ing scrap.

    Dude,

It's not to discredit but too TELL the PBF FANS that there isn't much to celebrate after all! :yep

Coz after the win they believed that PBF should be rated as#1 p4p based on his performance against JMM. Would you like to read the crazy praises PBF got after the win?!

They were saying pac went through hell fighting JMM and it was like a breeze pbf fighing jmm (not the exact words but the general idea was the same) thus they concluded that PBF will school pac based on that logic) :!:

tell the PBF fans, that's fine. I'm retty sure the boxing fans know what's up. WAs a good one for Floyd. I think a more interesting question is who you all go Hoya who fought Pac vs. marquez who fought May

At 145 lb, that was the worst version of JMM that I have seen, too slow, too tentative and apparently lacked power in his punches. Probably, the extra lbs was too much for his legs and body to carry.

excellent question my friend. its obvious. where was his mgmt or advisors when the dec was made?? 15 lbs???? thats a whole lot of weight!! did he really think he could move up that much and beat floyd?? at least with manny, it was a little bit at a time and GRADUALLY! jmm tried to do it all in 1 fight against, arguably, the best p4p today. maybe it was the money.

Even 140 is too high for him, I have a funny feeling Hatton will stop him

When the **** are you gonna get over it ****? Move onto something else, make a priority in your life something other than hating Mayweather. You will feel better for it. This topic has been thrashed.

    Someone close thread.
